Wow, where has the time gone? I have not made an update to this spot in weeks! To make amends, here are some essential takeaways from my time away:

• Boston is beautiful, and home to one of the most clever ad spots I’ve ever seen. Behold a shot from inside the TD Stadium from the Saturday (1/9) the NY Rangers beat the Bruins:

• In dining venues, cheesecake can oftentimes be mistaken for cheese steak — especially when the person ordering it has a lisp, and always when the dessert is ordered with the rest of the meal.

• Far from an upset, Johnathan continues to slay my heart and simply amaze me. Kindergarten in 2011 — Woohoo!
• On today’s date an annular eclipse occurred that will not be witnessed again prior to 2020. My horoscope swears this is my year…
• Re-quoted, with a big thank you to MC. This was the first thing I read upon waking up today: “May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
