My boyfriend’s aunt shared a beauty secret with me over the weekend. She told me that swimming in the ocean led to a clearer, more balanced complexion — so much so that she fills up bottles when she can so it’s accessible at home. Wow, where has the time gone? I have not made an update to this spot in weeks! To make amends, here are some essential takeaways from my time away:

  • Far from an upset, Johnathan continues to slay my heart and simply amaze me. Kindergarten in 2011 — Woohoo!
  • On today’s date an annular eclipse occurred that will not be witnessed again prior to 2020. My horoscope swears this is my year…
  • Re-quoted, with a big thank you to MC. This was the first thing I read upon waking up today: “May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
