It gets lonely on the road…

23 Nov

What I’m loving this month…

  • Duffy. Specifically “Stepping Stone.” Lovely voice, lovely extensions, lovely video — especially the old-fashioned glass milk jar. What’s that about? It’s catlike and captivating.
  • Parallel parking, toddler-style!
  • Tiesto, Tegan, and Sara’s “Feel It In My Bones.”
  • MonthlyInfo.com — for making TTOM that much easier.
  • Danielle Pergament. Read “Roman Holiday” in the November Allure. The mag’s site hasn’t posted the story yet, but if they do and I find it, I’ll make things easy and add a link here.
  • Lauren Groff’s The Monsters of Templeton. A monster surfaces, dead, dredging up a fascinating genealogical mystery, complete with a rich and unforgettable cast of characters. Visit the NYT for the first chapter.
